Want to know what makes Balconette tick? we'll ask her for you... Alter ego/real name: I'm the Sarah half of Sarah & Andy or Andy & Sarah, but I'm still the Sarah half (that sounds quite sad but most people know both of us 'cos we've been together a long time and go to gigs together.)

What's your top tip for budding actionettes?
Come on down, drink a little wine and get grooving with us.

What's your favourite dancing sustenance?
When I'm dancing - I need nothing else, just good music

Like yr moves hot thing...what else do you do?
More dancing (Egyptian as if you hadn't guessed), you can also spot me at the odd gig here and there.

What's your favourite hair do?
Something that you don't have to spend time with - I'm a wash it and let it dry girl who brushes once a day, I've got too much to do to faff around with blow drying.

Worse hair don't?
Having to faff around with blow drying.

Who's your villain?
Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Notingham in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves is my fave villian (I particularly like the bitwhere he threatens to 'cut your heart out with a spoon'), though I think you meant people I don't like so i'd have to say that Andi McDowell needs a good slap for being so winsome and Sigorney Weaver makes my flesh crawl.

What are your fave shoes...?
I'm quite fond of my knee high boots.

Whats your favourite make up?
Red lipstick

Do you have a beauty tip for the world? Wash and go - am I making too much of this blow drying thing?

What drink would someone buy if they were going to buy this actionette a drink?
Depends on the mood, it could be a bottle of dog (with a halfpint glass of course), or a southern comfort with orange juice, or a sloe comfortable screw (vodka, southern comfort, galliano, sloe gin and orange juice) or it could be something else...

Whats your favourite club/disco/gig venue thingy?
Club - has to be Track and Field, as for venue - went to Tony's New Empress Ballroom in Blackburn a couple of weeks ago and it was a fantastic place - felt like stepping back in time, and there were still patches of talc on the floor from the Northern Soul All-nighter they'd had at the weekend before.
